What We Are Looking For
- Established crews doing carpet, LVP or both.
- Your own tools, transport and van.
- General liability insurance and workers’ compensation, or a valid exemption. We will ask for the certificate.
- Verifiable references from work in the Tampa Bay area.
- Crews who can wrap a staircase properly — it is the fastest way to tell us how good you are.
How We Work With Crews
We are not a volume shop pushing crews through six houses a day. Our jobs are quoted with realistic time in them, mostly residential, mostly occupied homes, across Hillsborough County and the surrounding counties.
You would deal with the owner directly on scheduling and scope. No layers, no dispatcher.
Payment
Where a supplier is involved we handle lien releases properly — see our lien law notice.
Standards
The customer sees our name, so the finish has to be ours. Seams, stair returns, transitions and trim get looked at. Sites get left clean. Customers get treated well, particularly in the retirement communities where we do a lot of work and where the owner is usually home while you are there.
Crews that meet that standard get steady work from us for years. Crews that do not get one job.
Common Questions
Do you supply the material?
Yes. Material comes through us; you provide labor, tools and transport.
What insurance do you require?
General liability and workers' compensation, or a valid Florida exemption. We will need the certificate before you start.
How much volume can you offer?
It varies with the season. We will be realistic with you rather than promising volume we cannot deliver.
